Several weeks ago I spoke to the Bovis site manager and he agreed to speak with our contact at United Utilities about making use of the under-used car-park beside the UU building. This could take some of the hospital contractor vehicles off our streets, even if only for a while, and ease the problems. Today I called back to see what, if any, progress had been made, as I hadn’t noticed any improvement around here (while reversing down West Grove to let someone get past!)

He said he had spoken to the UU contact and asked him to come up with a proposal. Due to summer holidays, they hadn’t followed up yet, but will in the next day or two.
