Here are some suggestions as to how this could be done quite simply...
- There is some room for non-residents vehicles. The problem is the number of them parking here all day Monday to Friday. A system of Residents Passes and 'Waiting Limited to 3 hours' signs for non-residents would probably be all that is needed. Plus maybe some yellow lines on the corners to make access easier.
- Vans are a worse problem - wider and longer - making access for emergency vehicles difficult. The hospitals (and other local places where building is taking place) need to provide spaces on their own sites for their contractors' vehicles... not give them maps showing where there is free on-street parking in the area!
