Welcome to our website. 'The Groves' is a group of five streets in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester 13. This site has been set up to help us as residents of the Groves to monitor a sharp increase in the number of non-residents who are parking their cars outside our houses. This has been caused by the introduction of a Pay-to-Park scheme for non-residents on Carmoor Road. The Groves are now the next nearest free parking for visitors, staff and contractors at the nearby Manchester Royal Infirmary, St Mary's and Eye Hospitals (see the area map page).
